Starting this website

Well finally after 3 months of work this website is done. I have much more content (like projects, talks, posts), but migrating the postgres database from the local development environment to vercel production turned out to be a nightmare.

After hours of retries I decided to try and make a fresh vercel project and add content to the CMS manually as I go.

I guess I can better curate things as I go now.

Nevertheless this post is one of the first. There will be many more but I don't know when and how these would come. I plan to make detailed posts about what happens in the life of academia people.

It serves two purposes, either motivated school students can get inspired from it and join the scientific community or people who thought this to be a shiny medal to achieve will drop that goal and search for something more practical.

Academic life is no doubt really rewarding in some aspects but for sure is not the easiest path to money. There are much more pracical avenues in that respect.

Yesterday had been so unlucky that I can't really comprehend what was going on. I will explain in detail in probably another post! It was a bad bad day, visa got rejected, the masala chaas got stuck (the photo above) and I cracked my phone screen. I couldn't sleep due to electricity going out.

It was actually interesting how bad ones's luck could one after another. But nevertheless that is past and I am over it lol..

Maybe I will invite some of my colleagues too, to write about their lives!
